Erik Cole and defenseman Jason Demers scored for the Stars, who suffered their fourth consecutive loss. Jhonas Enroth finished with 21 saves as Dallas finished with a 1-3-0 record in the season series.

Winnipeg cashed in on an early power-play opportunity to take the lead as Little received a cross-slot pass from Mark Scheifele and unleashed a shot from the left faceoff circle that caromed off Dallas defenseman Alex Goligoski and in at 5:05 of the first period. The Stars drew even exactly 12 minutes into the second, when Jason Spezza set up Cole for a shot from the left circle with a cross-slot feed.

Lowry put the Jets back in front 2:34 later, grabbing his own rebound at the right side of the crease and tucking the puck around Enroth. Byfuglien created breathing room at 5:10 of the third, beating the netminder with a backhander on a breakaway, and Frolik added an empty-netter with three minutes remaining before Demers scored two minutes later to get Dallas back within two.
