Lightning 4, Coyotes 2: Ondrej Palat recorded a pair of goals as Tampa Bay rallied from an early deficit to post its third win in four games on its Western road trip.

Ryan Callahan registered a goal and an assist, defenseman Anton Stralman set up a pair of tallies and captain Steven Stamkos added a late empty-netter for the Lightning, who finish their trek at Colorado on Sunday. Ben Bishop turned aside 22 shots to become the first Tampa Bay goaltender in franchise history to register two 30-win seasons.

Mark Arcobello scored for the third time in four games since being claimed off waivers from Pittsburgh and defenseman Michael Stone also tallied for the Coyotes. Former Lightning netminder Mike Smith made 23 saves for Arizona, which has netted a total of eight goals during its five-game losing streak.

Callahan gave Tampa Bay a 2-1 lead with 5:29 left in the second period with a shot from the bottom of the left faceoff circle after defenseman Mark Barberio looped around the net to leave him the puck. Blue-liner Victor Hedman intercepted a pass in the neutral zone and tapped the puck to Palat, who moved in to flip it past Smith on the stick side 3:27 into the third before Arcobello scored on a breakaway with 8:18 left to cut the deficit to 3-2.

Smith stopped all 10 shots he faced in first period and the Coyotes gave him a lead at 14:02 as Stone hammered a shot inside the left post from right point. The Lightning capitalized on the second half of David Moss' double-minor for high-sticking as Palat moved down the left wing, took a diagonal pass from Callahan and beat Smith 6:45 into the second.
