Flames 4, Bruins 3 (OT): Defenseman TJ Brodie scored at 4:58 of overtime to complete a comeback from a three-goal deficit as host Calgary stunned Boston.

Brodie's backhander as time was running out in the extra session deflected into the air off the stick of the Bruins' Brad Marchand and clipped the glove of Tuukka Rask before bouncing off the back of the net and caroming in off the goaltender's right shoulder. Jiri Hudler scored twice in the third period, David Jones also tallied, captain Mark Giordano collected three assists and Jonas Hiller stopped all 16 shots he faced in relief of Karri Ramo, who gave up three goals on 11 shots.

Marchand recorded a short-handed goal and defensemen Zdeno Chara and Torey Krug also scored to stake the Bruins to a 3-0 lead before Calgary stormed back to beat Boston for the first time since Oct. 30, 2008, ending a five-game skid in the series. Rask made 23 saves as the Bruins absorbed their season-high fourth consecutive defeat.

Boston appeared on the way to a rout when a trailing Krug gained control of the puck after Reilly Smith fanned on a shot from the slot and buried a backhander 50 seconds into the second period that opened a 3-0 advantage and chased Ramo. Jones got Calgary on the board six minutes later, driving the net from the left side and scoring when his shot bounced off the stick of Chara and over Rask.

Hudler cut the deficit to 3-2 at 3:22 of the third, converting a pass from Sean Monahan at the bottom of the right faceoff circle before redirecting Giordano's blast during a power play with 5:09 remaining for the equalizer. Marchand finished off a 2-on-none rush with Patrice Bergeron at 6:48 of the opening period and Chara hammered home a slap shot from the point just over 4 1/2 minutes later for a 2-0 lead.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Hudler has recorded six goals and 10 points in nine career games versus the Bruins, who had outscored Calgary 21-2 in winning the previous five meetings. ... Marchand scored his 14th career short-handed goal and tied Bergeron for the team lead with 16 tallies overall. ...
