Penguins 4, Flames 0: Captain Sidney Crosby scored twice and added an assist while All-Star Marc-Andre Fleury set a franchise record with his league-leading eighth shutout of the season as visiting Pittsburgh silenced Calgary.

Fleury turned aside 21 shots for his second straight blanking and the 36th of his career. David Perron recorded a goal and an assist, Brandon Sutter also scored and Chris Kunitz chipped in three assists.

Jonas Hiller was pulled after surrendering four goals on 24 shots for the Flames, who fell for just the third time in 11 games. Karri Ramo replaced Hiller and turned aside all six shots he faced.

Perron got the Penguins on the board 5:46 into the game, gathering Crosby's backhand pass from the bottom of the right faceoff circle and firing a wrist shot past Hiller. Sutter doubled the lead with 1:50 left in the first period as he won a faceoff in the offensive zone and went to the net before deftly backhanding defenseman Simon Despres' feed from the point past Hiller's glove.

Crosby got in on the act with 8:02 remaining in the middle session, charging toward the net and jousting Kunitz's centering pass past Hiller with one hand on his stick. He capped his big night 5:19 into the third period, when he split the Flames' defense and unleashed a high shot that beat the netminder.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Crosby came into the contest with just one point in three career games in Calgary. ... Fleury broke a tie for the franchise mark with Tom Barrasso, who posted seven shutouts during the 1997-98 season. ... Perron has collected eight goals and four assists in 14 games since being acquired in a trade with Edmonton.
