Bruins 3, Stars 1: Defenseman Dougie Hamilton scored one goal and set up another to lift visiting Boston to its sixth win in seven games.

Loui Eriksson tallied against his former team and Gregory Campbell snapped his nine-game goal-scoring drought for the Bruins, who have allowed 11 goals in their last eight contests. Tuukka Rask turned aside 36 shots to reach 20 victories for the third time in his career.

Vernon Fiddler - appearing in his 700th career game - tallied for the second straight contest for Dallas, which was denied in its bid to take a three-game winning streak into the All-Star break. Kari Lehtonen made 24 saves but surrendered at least three goals for the sixth time in his last seven starts.

The Stars seized the lead when Fiddler's seemingly harmless backhander from the right faceoff circle got past Rask at 6:46 of the second period, but Boston tied it with a highlight-reel goal 7 1/2 minutes later. Chris Kelly sent a crossing feed into the left circle for Carl Soderberg, who made a no-look, backhand pass to Eriksson for a one-timer from the slot.

Campbell put the Bruins ahead to stay with 1:33 left in the session, pouncing on a rebound and firing it past a lunging Lehtonen and into the left corner of the net. Hamilton added an insurance tally during a power play at 7:41 of the third, skating in and snapping a wrist shot from the right faceoff dot that whistled past the glove of Lehtonen.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Stars C Jason Spezza assisted on Fiddler's goal to run his point streak to four games. ... Hamilton set career highs in goals (eight) and points (26) while LW Craig Cunningham collected his first NHL assist on Campbell's tally to end his 10-game point drought. ... Stars LW Erik Cole, who collected six goals and 10 points in his previous eight games, suffered an upper-body injury in the first period and did not return.
