Blackhawks 6, Coyotes 1: Andrew Shaw registered his fifth career two-goal performance while Patrick Kane netted his 200th career tally and set up two others as Chicago avoided a third straight home loss in dominating fashion.

Teuvo Teravainen recorded a goal and an assist, defenseman David Rundblad also tallied and captain Jonathan Toews ended his 11-game goal-scoring drought for the Blackhawks, who completed a 2-2-0 homestand. Patrick Sharp, Bryan Bickell and Brad Richards each notched a pair of assists while Antti Raanta turned aside 35 shots - including all 17 he faced in the third period.

Lucas Lessio scored his first NHL goal for the Coyotes, whose losing streak reached six games (0-5-1). Mike Smith finished with 45 saves as Arizona fell to 0-2-1 on its franchise-record eight-game road trip.

Chicago - which outshot Arizona 20-9 in the first period - opened the scoring during a power play 6:53 into the contest, when Kane made a pass from the left faceoff circle that Toews fired past Smith from the high slot. Shaw doubled the lead less than six minutes later, accepting a feed in front from Teravainen on his forehand and switching to his backhand before shifting back to his forehand to tuck the puck around Smith.

Kane buried the rebound of Richards' shot 3:51 into the middle session and Teravainen knocked his own rebound past Smith at 9:42 to make it 4-0. Lessio got Arizona on the board with 2:06 left in the period, beating Raanta with a backhander on a short breakaway, but Shaw restored the four-goal advantage 85 seconds later with a shot from the top of the slot that beat Smith to the glove side.
