The Senators went on the power play 54 seconds later and quickly converted as Michalek chipped a rebound past Lundqvist, but New York got the equalizer 2:42 into the third. Blue-liner Marc Staal fed a streaking Kreider, who got behind the defense and beat Anderson to the stick side for his 10th goal of the season and fifth in the last 10 games.
