Bruins 4, Lightning 3: Rookie David Pastrnak recorded a pair of goals for the second straight contest as host Boston extended its winning streak to four games.

Milan Lucic registered a goal and an assist while Brad Marchand also tallied for the Bruins, who beat the Lightning for the ninth straight time and ran their overall point streak to eight games (5-0-3). David Krejci and defenseman Torey Krug each recorded two assists while Tuukka Rask made 16 saves to improve to 8-2-0 lifetime against Tampa Bay.

Captain Steven Stamkos scored twice and Ryan Callahan added a goal for the Lightning, who gave up 11 tallies on their 0-2-0 road trip. Ondrej Palat set up two goals, defenseman Nikita Nesterov notched an assist for his first career point and Ben Bishop turned aside 30 shots for Tampa Bay.

Stamkos redirected Palat’s diagonal pass 9:23 into the game to open the scoring, but Marchand converted Carl Soderberg’s cross-ice pass during a delayed penalty with 3:18 left in the first period. Stamkos beat Rask from the slot 10:55 into the second session before Pastrnak went around the Lightning defense to slide a shot past Bishop at 15:24.

Lucic broke the tie with 53.2 seconds left in the period as his backhand shot was stopped by Bishop before the puck caromed in off Tampa Bay defenseman Anton Stralman. Pastrnak scored on a wraparound 90 seconds into the third for a 4-2 lead before Callahan’s deflection with 5:42 left pulled the Lightning within a goal.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Lucic has recorded three of his six multi-point performances in his last four games. … The Lightning were without D Victor Hedman and All-Star C Tyler Johnson due to lower-body injuries. C Vladislav Namestnikov was recalled to take Johnson’s place in the lineup. … Pastrnak, who notched the first two goals of his career against Philadelphia on Saturday, registered a game-high seven shots to go along with two takeaways.
