Oilers 5, Blackhawks 2: Derek Roy collected a goal and two assists as host Edmonton snapped a five-game winless skid versus Chicago.

Nail Yakupov and Taylor Hall each scored and set up a tally for the Oilers, who posted their fourth victory in 27 contests (4-15-8) and became the last team in the NHL to record double-digit wins. Benoit Pouliot and defenseman Jeff Petry also scored and Ben Scrivens turned aside 19 shots.

Brandon Saad scored twice to increase his goal total to five in seven games for the Blackhawks, who lost in Edmonton for the first time since Feb. 2, 2012. Captain Jonathan Toews notched a pair of assists and Antti Raanta finished with 17 saves while making his first start since Dec. 21.

After Saad scored his second goal of the contest to forge a 2-2 tie at 5:47 of the second period, Petry regained Edmonton's lead 46 seconds later by converting from in close following Yakupov's shot from the right circle. Yakupov provided insurance by scoring on a 2-on-none rush with 3:09 remaining in the third before Hall's empty-net goal 43 seconds later sealed the win.

Saad cleaned up a rebound of Toews' shot on a 2-on-1 rush to open the scoring 7:34 into the first period before Pouliot's tap-in from in front forged a tie 78 seconds later. Edmonton seized its first lead at 13:35 as Roy capped a brilliant tic-tac-toe passing sequence with a tap-in at the doorstep before Saad buried Marian Hossa's rebound.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Chicago RW Patrick Kane saw his 13-game point streak in the series come to a halt. The 2013 Conn Smythe Trophy winner collected eight goals and 15 assists in that stretch. ... Edmonton C Anton Lander notched an assist to extend his point streak to three games. ... The Oilers posted their first victory over a Central Division rival in 10 contests (1-4-5).
