Jets 5, Blackhawks 1: Red-hot Mathieu Perreault scored a pair of goals as Winnipeg snapped Chicago's eight-game home winning streak.

Michael Hutchinson, who blanked Chicago 1-0 on Nov. 2 for his lone career shutout, turned aside 38 shots while Bryan Little and Anthony Peluso scored during a three-goal first period as the Jets extended their point streak to four games (3-0-1). Blake Wheeler added an empty-net goal and an assist while captain Andrew Ladd set up a pair of tallies to help give Winnipeg points in 12 of its last 13 games (8-1-4).

Marian Hossa scored the lone goal for the Blackhawks, who lost for only the fourth time in 18 games (14-3-1). Corey Crawford, making his second start after missing eight games due to injury, surrendered three goals on 13 shots before giving way to Antti Raanta (11 saves).

Winnipeg dominated the opening period and went ahead at 9:04, when Perreault ripped a high wrist shot from the slot past the waving glove of Crawford. Little doubled the advantage 4:14 later with a shot that clipped the stick of Blackhawks defenseman Johnny Oduya before Peluso ended a 46-game drought - and chased Crawford - by knocking in a rebound with 4 1/2 minutes left in the session.

Perreault converted on the power play at 8:16 of the second with a wicked wrister from the right faceoff circle for his fourth goal in three games, but Hossa was sprung on a breakaway less than four minutes later and beat Hutchinson to the glove side from the right hash marks. Chicago pulled Raanta for an extra attacker with five minutes to play, but Wheeler scored seconds later to foil the strategy.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Perreault has recorded five goals and four assists during his franchise record-tying eight-game point streak, although he had a career-best nine-game run last season with Anaheim. ... Blackhawks RW Patrick Kane had his six-game point streak halted, while C Brad Richards (upper body) sat out his second straight game. ... Winnipeg scored on its first power-play chance against Chicago's top-ranked penalty kill, which had snuffed out 35-of-37 short-handed situations over the previous 15 games.
