Maple Leafs 4, Stars 0: Jonathan Bernier rebounded from a brutal outing to make 43 saves and record his second shutout of the season while James van Riemsdyk collected a goal and two assists as visiting Toronto snapped its three-game losing streak.

Nazem Kadri scored a goal and set up another while Tyler Bozak netted his career-high seventh power-play tally for the Maple Leafs, who also posted a 5-3 victory over Dallas on Dec. 2. Mike Santorelli also scored and Phil Kessel notched a pair of assists in the win.

Kari Lehtonen turned aside 22 shots for the Stars, who saw their four-game winning streak come to a halt. Dallas failed to score on all four of its power plays and is 1-for-12 with the man advantage over its last five contests.

After getting blitzed for seven goals against Philadelphia on Saturday, Bernier righted the ship in a hurry en route to his ninth career shutout. The 26-year-old Quebec native preserved the blanking by stopping 19 shots in the third period.

Stationed in the slot, Kadri tapped home van Riemsdyk's feed from the corner 55 seconds into the contest before the latter converted a breakaway 6:21 into the second period. Toronto kept the pressure on as captain Dion Phaneuf's shot from the point produced a juicy rebound that Bozak batted past Lehtonen just over four minutes later as the Maple Leafs seized a 3-0 lead.
