Kings 5, Senators 3: Anze Kopitar scored the go-ahead goal during a power play early in the third period as visiting Los Angeles spoiled the coaching debut of Dave Cameron.

Justin Williams, Trevor Lewis, Tanner Pearson and defenseman Matt Greene also tallied for the Kings, who have won four straight - and seven of the last eight - meetings with Ottawa. Blue-liner Jake Muzzin collected a career-high three assists and Jonathan Quick notched one while making 32 saves to improve to 5-1-0 versus the Senators.

Bobby Ryan scored a highlight-reel goal in the second period while Mark Stone and defenseman Jared Cowen also tallied for Ottawa, which has dropped six of its last seven. Cowen added an assist and Craig Anderson turned aside 31 shots in falling to 1-6-1 in his last eight contests overall and 1-7-4 in 13 starts versus Los Angeles.

Ryan trimmed the Senators' deficit to 2-1 with 5:52 remaining in the second by skating into the offensive zone and dragging the puck around Kings defenseman Brayden McNabb before backhanding a shot past Quick. Stone's short-handed tally at 1:44 of the third forged a tie, but Los Angeles blue-liner Drew Doughty's pass from the point found Kopitar in front for an easy backhanded conversion 36 seconds later.

Los Angeles regained its two-goal lead at 4:02 of the third as Tyler Toffoli skated around fallen Ottawa defenseman Chris Phillips before feeding Lewis at the left doorstep. Cowen pulled Ottawa within one with 1:21 remaining, but Pearson scored into an empty net 24 seconds later to seal the win.
