Ducks 5, Stars 4 (OT): Nick Bonino scored his second goal of the night from the right hash marks 2:47 into overtime to complete an unlikely late comeback as visiting Anaheim advanced to the second round of the Western Conference playoffs.

Devante Smith-Pelly also tallied twice while defenseman Ben Lovejoy added a goal for the Pacific Division-champion Ducks, who await the winner of the Los Angeles-San Jose first-round series. Teemu Selanne and Corey Perry each notched a pair of assists and Jonas Hiller stopped all 12 shots he faced in relief of Frederik Andersen, who allowed four goals on 12 shots.

Blue-liner Trevor Daley collected two goals and an assist while Cody Eakin recorded one of each for the Stars, who squandered three two-goal leads - including one with less than 2 1/2 minutes remaining in the third period. Ryan Garbutt also scored, defenseman Alex Goligoski added two assists and Kari Lehtonen made 25 saves.

Dallas opened the scoring at 5:16 of the first period as Daley exited the penalty box after serving two minutes for high-sticking and raced to a loose puck before beating Andersen on a breakaway. Eakin doubled the lead during a power play midway through the session with a shot from the top of the slot before Smith-Pelly converted a nifty pass from Selanne with 2:03 left to halve the deficit.

Garbutt buried a loose puck at the bottom of the slot 64 seconds later to restore the Stars' two-goal advantage, but Lovejoy fired a one-timer between Lehtonen's pads 3:55 into the second to again get the Ducks within one. Daley took a feed on the right wing and gained a step on Anaheim defenseman Luca Sbisa while skating to the net before beating Andersen at 10:33 before Bonino and Smith-Pelly scored in the final 2:10 of the third to force overtime.
