Senators 3, Penguins 2 (SO): Kyle Turris scored his team-leading 26th goal in regulation and also tallied in the shootout as visiting Ottawa completed its season with a fifth straight victory.

Turris breezed in before wristing a shot under the crossbar in the first round of the bonus format. Captain Jason Spezza sealed the win in the second as he turned on the jets before coming to a near stop and made a series of moves before backhanding the puck past Jeff Zatkoff (31 saves).

Mark Stone also converted on the power play and Robin Lehner made 26 saves for the Senators, who posted a 2-0-1 mark versus Pittsburgh this season.

Jussi Jokinen scored a goal in his third straight contest and Lee Stempniak also tallied for the Penguins, who will host Metropolitan Division-rival Columbus in Game 1 of their first-round series on Wednesday.

After Brian Gibbons won a faceoff in the offensive zone, Beau Bennett settled the loose puck and wristed a shot from the left faceoff circle that was redirected home by Stempniak 5:16 into the second period to give Pittsburgh a 2-1 lead. Stone forged a 2-2 tie with 2:46 left in the session by poking home a loose puck on the doorstep.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Pittsburgh captain Sidney Crosby was a healthy scratch and finished the season with an NHL-best 104 points to capture his second Art Ross Trophy. ... With his team on the power play, Jokinen's centering feed caromed off the skate of Ottawa D Eric Gryba and between the pads of Lehner at 14:46 of the first period to open the scoring. Jokinen has collected three goals and two assists during his five-game point streak. ... Penguins RW Craig Adams was the lone member of his team to play in all 82 games this season.
