Claude Giroux scored two goals in the final 1:26 of regulation and Kevin Hayes scored in the sixth round of the shootout round to rally the host Philadelphia Flyers past the New Jersey Devils 4-3 on Sunday.
Sean Couturier also scored for the Flyers, who have won only three of their past 12 games at home. Jakub Voracek and James van Riemsdyk had two assists each for Philadelphia (22-19-7, 51 points).
Flyers goaltender Brian Elliott stopped 29 shots in regulation and overtime and four of the six attempts in the shootout.
Miles Wood had one goal and one assist, but the Devils (14-27-7, 35 points) couldn't hold a late lead and dropped their 10th straight game.
Mike McLeod and Pavel Zacha also scored one goal apiece while Nathan Bastian contributed two assists for the Devils.
Devils goaltender Mackenzie Blackwood made 33 saves.
The Devils jumped to a rare 1-0 lead at 4:56 of the first period when Bastian sent a pass through the crease and McLeod tapped the puck into the net.
It was the seventh straight game that the Flyers have allowed the opening goal.
Philadelphia tied the game at 11:45 of the first when Phil Myers fired a slap shot from the point which was redirected by Couturier.
Wood gave the Devils a 2-1 advantage at 7:07 of the second. As Bastian was falling to the ice, he managed to pass the puck to Wood, who connected for his team-leading 16th goal.
The Flyers had a flurry of shots in the final few minutes of the second but couldn't capitalize.
New Jersey, which ranks last in the league in penalty killing, halted a Flyers power play early in the third.
Giroux nearly tied the game at 4:52 of the third as his wrist shot was saved by Blackwood.
The Devils took advantage when Zacha found himself wide open in front and scored at 9:16 for a 3-1 lead.
Elliott was pulled for an extra skater with 2:39 remaining, and the move paid off as Giroux scored at 18:34. It ended an 11-game streak without a goal for the Flyers' captain.
Giroux then scored again with the extra skater to tie the game at 18:56.
