Penguins 4, Canadiens 0: Marc-Andre Fleury made 27 saves for his league-best fourth shutout of the season as visiting Pittsburgh halted Montreal's six-game winning streak.

Beau Bennett had a goal and two assists for his first points of the season while captain Sidney Crosby scored for the first time in nine games as the Penguins won their fourth in a row. Steve Downie had a goal and an assist and Brandon Sutter also tallied in the victory.

Carey Price made 18 saves for the Canadiens, who had allowed just seven goals over the length of their winning streak. Montreal went 0-for-3 with the man-advantage while allowing Pittsburgh's league-best power play to convert its only opportunity.

Bennett opened the scoring 7:46 into the game, pouncing on a giveaway at the Montreal blue line before skating into the low slot and firing a wrist shot that beat Price high on the blocker side. Downie doubled the advantage just under two minutes later, gathering a deft pass from defenseman Kris Letang at the side of the goal and sliding the puck past an out-of-position Price.

Sutter extended the lead in the opening minute of the second and Crosby added to the onslaught in the final stretches of the period on a Pittsburgh power play, jumping on a loose puck on the edge of the crease with Alex Galchenyuk serving a slashing penalty. Fleury took over from there, weathering the storm as the Canadiens outshot Pittsburgh 14-2 over the final 20 minutes.
