Bruins 4, Devils 2: Patrice Bergeron collected a goal and an assist and Brad Marchand scored his league-leading fifth short-handed tally as visiting Boston recorded its 10th consecutive victory.

Jarome Iginla continued his sizzling play by netting his 556th career goal to tie John Bucyk for 25th place on the NHL's all-time list. Chris Kelly scored in his 650th game and Chad Johnson turned aside 22 shots for the Bruins, who reached double digits in consecutive wins for the first time since November 2011. The winning streak matched Anaheim's 10-game run in December for the longest in the league this season.

Travis Zajac collected a goal and an assist and Patrik Elias scored on a 5-on-3 power play for the Devils, who absorbed their third consecutive loss.

After Elias forged a 1-1 tie only 29 seconds into the middle period, Marchand answered 54 ticks later as his one-timer from the slot beat Martin Brodeur (27 saves) inside the right post. Iginla, who scored in his 1,300th game on Monday, doubled the advantage 59 seconds later with a wrist shot from the right dot to extend his point streak to six games.

Boston dominated play in the first period before Bergeron drew first blood at the 14:33 mark after accepting a give-and-go from Reilly Smith before backhanding the puck between Brodeur's pads.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Iginla has collected seven goals and an assist on his point streak. ... Bruins captain Zdeno Chara celebrated his 37th birthday by notching an assist on Marchand's tally. ...
