Shaun Suisham kicked his third field goal of the game, a 38-yarder with four seconds to play, to lift the Pittsburgh Steelers to a 23-20 victory over the host Indianapolis Colts on Sunday night.

Ben Roethlisberger overcame three turnovers to lead the game-winning drive as the Steelers (2-1) sent the winless Colts to their first 0-3 start since Peyton Manning's rookie season in 1998.

Roethlisberger threw for 364 yards and an 81-yard touchdown pass to Mike Wallace, who had his sixth consecutive 100-yard game with five receptions for 144 yards.

Indianapolis turned in an inspired defensive performance and converted three Pittsburgh turnovers into 13 second-quarter points to take a 13-10 lead into the half.

Pittsburgh got a huge play from its defense when linebacker James Harrison sacked backup quarterback Curtis Painter and Troy Polamalu returned the fumble 16 yards for a touchdown with 5:13 to play put Pittsburgh ahead 20-13.

Painter, playing after Kerry Collins went out with a possible concussion, rebounded from the fumble to lead the Colts on a 10-play, 80-yard scoring march capped by Joseph Addai's 6-yard run with 2:09 to play for a 20-20 deadlock.

That set the stage for Roethlisberger, who hit Mewelde Moore for 22 yards and scrambled for 11 yards on the winning drive.

Jamaal Anderson returned a Roethlisberger fumble 47 yards for a touchdown and Adam Vinatieri kicked two field goals in the second quarter for the Colts.
