No. 1 Mississippi State 45, UT Martin 16: Dak Prescott passed for 206 yards and two touchdowns and also ran for a score as the Bulldogs routed the FCS-member Skyhawks.

Brandon Holloway and Ashton Shumpert added rushing touchdowns for Mississippi State (9-0), which has an SEC showdown at Alabama next week. Fred Brown and Joe Morrow caught TD passes from Prescott as the Bulldogs extended their winning streak to 12 games, the second-longest active streak in the nation.

Jarod Neal passed for one score and rushed for one for UT Martin (5-6). The Skyhawks dropped to 1-18 all-time against FBS opponents.

Prescott threw a 10-yard touchdown pass in the opening quarter and broke loose on a 48-yard scamper in the second. Holloway scored on a 35-yard jaunt midway through the second as Mississippi State took a 24-3 lead into the break.

Prescott teamed with Morrow on a 55-yard scoring pass in the third quarter and Shumpert broke loose for a 59-yard scoring run to make it 38-3. After UT Martin scored two fourth-quarter touchdowns, Damian Williams tossed a 44-yard TD pass to Jamoral Graham with 3:37 to play.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Prescott (3,010) became the first player in school history to top 3,000 yards of total offense in a season. … The Skyhawks had a four-game winning streak halted. … Shumpert rushed for 82 yards on just four carries, while Holloway had 70 yards on seven carries.
