Arkansas 45, UAB 17: Jonathan Williams racked up 166 total yards and two scores as the host Razorbacks used their potent ground attack to strangle the Blazers.

Williams (153) and Alex Collins (82) combined for 235 of the Razorbacks' 273 rushing yards and a pair of touchdowns for Arkansas (4-4), which limited UAB (4-4) to just 62 passing yards on the afternoon. Brandon Allen went 15-of-24 for 205 yards and two TDs and 315-pound offensive lineman Sebastian Tretola added a passing TD off a fake field goal for the Razorbacks.

Jamarcus Nelson had a 100-yard kickoff return touchdown for the Blazers, who came into the game with four 40-point performances on the season but couldn't muster much of anything Saturday. Jeremiah Briscoe went 6-of-18 with a touchdown and an interception while Jordan Howard led the ground attack with 90 yards on 18 carries.

With the Razorbacks ahead 7-0, Collins increased the edge with 5:12 remaining in the quarter, cutting to his right and barreling into a UAB defender as he crossed the goal line from 3 yards out. Allen connected with Williams on a 17-yard strike on the opening play of the second quarter and Tretola got in on the fun later in the period, scurrying off the line to take the snap and heaving a 6-yard pass to long snapper Alan D'Apollonio as Arkansas led 35-0 at the break.

Allen's 15-yard TD strike to Jeremy Sprinkle extended the lead to 45-3 before Nelson generated UAB's lone highlight, gathering the ensuing kickoff at his own goal line before hitting a seam, streaking toward the left sideline and sprinting untouched for the score. The Blazers finally recorded an offensive score in the final minute, as Briscoe connected with Nyiakki Height on a 33-yard strike in the middle of the end zone.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Briscoe had just 20 passing yards at the half. ... Kody Walker added a 5-yard touchdown run for the Razorbacks, who came into the week tied for fifth in the nation with 23 rushing scores. ... The Razorbacks face current No. 1 Mississippi State next week at Davis Wade Stadium.
