Tyler Bray was 20-of-34 for 293 yards and four touchdowns to lead the host Volunteers over the Wildcats for their first conference victory in the season finale for both teams.

Tennessee (5-7, 1-7 SEC) scored the last 17 points after the Wildcats had pulled to within three midway through the third quarter. Bray found Mychal Rivera with a 29-yard scoring toss, followed by a 21-yard touchdown pass to Cordarrelle Patterson to increase the Vols' advantage to 17 heading to the fourth quarter.

Patterson led nine Tennessee receivers who caught a pass with four catches for 88 yards. Justin Hunter and Zach Rogers also had touchdown receptions for Tennessee.

Kentucky quarterback Jalen Whitlow passed for a career-best 225 yards and a touchdown but missed a number of open targets throughout the game. The Wildcats (2-10, 0-8) didn't commit any turnovers but were 0-of-3 on fourth-down conversions.

Marlin Lane had a game-high 75 rushing yards on 10 attempts as the Volunteers averaged 5.1 yards per carry. Linebacker A.J. Johnson scored his team-leading sixth rushing touchdown as well as recording his first career sack.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Kentucky used two quarterbacks in a game - freshman Patrick Towles was 1-of-1 for 20 yards - for the ninth straight contest. ... Bray's 34 passing touchdowns in 2012 rank him second on the single-season list at Tennessee, behind only Peyton Manning's 36 in 1997. … Tennessee leads the series 75-24-9.
