No. 23 Louisiana Tech 51, Texas-San Antonio 27: Colby Cameron threw for three touchdowns and Kenneth Dixon rushed for three more as the host Bulldogs downed the Roadrunners to remain undefeated in the Western Athletic Conference.

Cameron finished 30-of-39 for 348 yards and Dixon added 72 yards on the ground for Louisiana Tech (8-1, 3-0 WAC), which has scored at least 44 points in all but one game this season.

The teams exchanged scoring drives during a 28-point first quarter, but the Bulldogs started to gain separation in the second when Cameron threw his second and third touchdown passes of the game to leave Louisiana Tech with a 27-14 advantage at the break.

UTSA (5-4, 1-3) moved to within 27-21 on the first drive of the third quarter as Eric Soza notched his third touchdown pass, but Dixon’s second scoring run and a field goal from Matt Nelson gave the Bulldogs a double-digit lead they would not relinquish. Dixon’s third touchdown with 14 seconds remaining accounted for the final margin.

Soza set school records with 314 yards and four touchdown passes for the Roadrunners, who have dropped four straight in their second year of existence.
