Vanderbilt 40, Kentucky 0: Wesley Tate and Zac Stacy rushed for touchdowns in a 20-point second quarter, sparking the visiting Commodores past struggling Kentucky.

Jordan Rodgers fired two first-half touchdown passes as Vanderbilt (5-4, 3-3 SEC) built a 27-0 halftime advantage and sent Kentucky (1-9, 0-7) to its eighth straight loss.

Tate scored on a 3-yard run with 14:32 remaining in the first half, extending the Commodores’ advantage to 14-0. Rodgers found Chris Boyd for a 30-yard touchdown with 3:38 left in the half, and Stacy added a 2-yard score with 38 seconds remaining.

Rodgers completed 18 of 29 passes for 220 yards. Stacy rushed 11 times for 69 yards.

Kentucky starting QB Jalen Whitlow finished 5-of-12 for 66 yards. Patrick Towles also played at quarterback for the Wildcats, going 8-of-23 for 93 yards.
