Matt Scott threw a career-high four touchdown passes and ran for another score as the Wildcats gave coach Rich Rodriguez his first Pac-12 win.

A game after setting the conference record for pass attempts and completions, Scott picked up where he left off, finishing with 256 yards on 14 of 22 attempts. Two of his scoring passes went to Austin Hill.

Washington, which lost its third straight, took an early 3-0 lead but the Wildcats rolled off 24 unanswered points to snap their three-game slide. Arizona (4-3, 1-3 Pac-12) scored on its first five possessions and led 31-17 at the half. Wildcats running back Ka'Deem Carey had 107 of his game-high 172 rushing yards before the break and also ran for a touchdown in the fourth quarter.

Richard Morrison's 63-yard punt return for a touchdown with 9:35 left in the third quarter gave the Wildcats a 45-17 lead. Rodriguez's high-octane offense didn't punt until three minutes remained in the third quarter. The Wildcats have combined for 100 points in their last two games.

Keith Price again struggled at quarterback for Washington (3-4, 1-3). He completed a career-high 29 passes on 52 attempts but was intercepted twice and lost a fumble.
