Vanderbilt 58, Presbyterian 0: Zac Stacy and Brian Kimbrow combined for 311 yards rushing to help the host Commodores win their first game of the season.

Stacy carried eight times for 174 yards and one touchdown, an 86-yard jaunt. Kimbrow carried 14 times for 137 yards and scored on a 49-yard run. It was the first time Vanderbilt has had a pair of 100-yard rushers in the same game since 2009.

The Commodores (1-2) tallied 410 rushing yards and averaged 8.9 yards per carry.

Austyn Carta-Samuels won the starting quarterback position this week for Vanderbilt and completed 13 of 20 passes for 195 yards and one touchdown - a 3-yarder to Steven Scheu in the back of the end zone.

The Vanderbilt defense allowed only 149 yards and Trey Wilkins returned an interception 100 yards for a touchdown.

It was the second straight thumping absorbed by Presbyterian against an FBS team. The Blue Hose (1-2) were beaten 59-3 by Georgia Tech a week earlier.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Vanderbilt had 297 total yards in the first half, the most since 2010 vs. Eastern Michigan. ... Stacy's 86-yard run was the longest in school history. ... Vanderbilt scored on its first four possessions.
