Stephfon Green rushed for 93 yards and a pair of touchdowns as No. 21 Penn State kept its Big Ten title hopes alive with a 20-14 victory at Ohio State on Saturday.

Anthony Frea kicked career long field goals of 43 and then 46 yards for Penn State (9-2, 6-1 Big Ten), who lead Wisconsin (9-2, 5-2) by one game in the Leaders Division. The Nittany Lions close out their regular season against the Badgers next week, with the winner advancing to the inaugural Big Ten Championship Game.

Interim coach Tom Bradley became the first coach besides Joe Paterno to earn a win with Penn State since 1965.

Ohio State (6-5, 3-4) was eliminated from the conference title race with Saturday’s loss.

All scoring occurred in the first half, with Green breaking up the middle for a 39-yard score in the first quarter and adding a 4-yard touchdown run in the second.

Penn State’s defense was strong all night but made its biggest play with 2:40 left. The Buckeyes went for the first down on 4th-and-10 from the Nittany Lions’ 41-yard line and Braxton Miller dropped back to pass before pulling the ball down. Penn State kept containment on the outside and stopped Miller a yard short of the first down.
