Isi Sofele rushed for a career-high 180 yards and a touchdown as host California snapped a four-game losing streak to Oregon State with a 23-6 victory on Saturday.

California (6-4, 3-4 Pac-12 North) outgained Oregon State 300-32 on the ground and became bowl-eligible with the win.

Zach Maynard passed for a touchdown and ran for another for the Golden Bears, who clinched the win with a long drive in the fourth quarter.

Sofele became the ninth California player in the past 10 years to rush for 1,000 yards.

The Golden Bears improved to 4-1 at AT&T Park in San Francisco, which is serving as the team's home during Memorial Stadium's renovation.

Trevor Romaine's two field goals provided the only points for Oregon State (2-8, 2-5), which committed two critical turnovers in the red zone.

Oregon State quarterback Sean Mannion, who extended his streak of games with at least 200 yards passing to nine, was 25-of-39 for 247 yards and two interceptions.
