High-powered Oregon went to its hurry-up offense in the second half to shake off host Washington 34-17 on Saturday in the final game at Husky Stadium.

LaMichael James rushed for 156 yards on 25 carries and opened the scoring with an 18-yard run in the first quarter as No. 6 Oregon (8-1, 6-0 Pac-12 North) never trailed.

The Ducks, whose only loss came to top-ranked LSU in their season opener, kept pace with Stanford in the Pac-12 North Division. The teams meet next week at Palo Alto, Calif., with the winner having a realistic chance of playing in the BCS championship game.

Oregon led 17-3 late in the first half, but the Huskies (6-3, 4-2) cut the deficit to 17-10 before the break on a 1-yard scoring pass from Keith Price to Michael Hartvigson.

The Ducks, though, put the game away with rushing touchdowns by Kenjon Barner and De’Anthony Thomas in a 17-point third quarter.

Redshirt freshman Nick Montana, son of Hall of Fame quarterback Joe Montana, threw one pass - a 53-yard completion - for the Huskies.
