Joe Bergeron and Malcolm Brown spearheaded a dominant rushing attack with two touchdowns apiece, and the Texas defense smothered visiting Kansas 43-0 on Saturday.

Bergeron had 136 yards and Brown ran for 119 as the Longhorns (5-2, 2-2 Big 12) rushed for 441 yards on 72 carries.

Texas finished with a 35-3 edge in first downs and had the ball for more than 44 minutes.

David Ash, who took all the snaps in Texas’ loss to Oklahoma State last weekend, continued his efficient play by finishing 14-of-18 for 145 yards. He also added a first-quarter rushing score.

Kansas (2-6, 0-5) managed 46 total yards - more than half which came on its final drive - and could only put one drive together that lasted more than five plays.

The Jayhawks have dropped six straight and have been outscored in those games 330-124.
