Justin Gilbert's 96-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in the first quarter and two Randle touchdowns in the second helped the Cowboys to a 31-6 halftime lead. Gilbert had an interception in the second quarter.

Tulsa scored 13 points in 8 seconds in the third quarter. Ja'Terian Douglas had an 80-yard touchdown run and after the Golden Hurricane recovered the ensuing onside kick, Kalen Henderson connected with Bryan Burnham for a 43-yard score to make it 45-19.
