E.J. Manuel threw a career-high four touchdowns and No. 4 Florida State cruised to a 62-10 victory over Charleston Southern on Saturday in its final warm-up before a huge showdown with top-ranked Oklahoma.

Bert Reed caught a pair of touchdowns for the Seminoles (2-0), who can validate their lofty preseason ranking and BCS title hopes by exacting some revenge against Oklahoma at home next week. The Sooners, who were off this week, blasted the Seminoles, 47-17, last September in Norman.

Manuel looked shaky at times in the opener against Louisiana-Monroe, but he sparked Saturday's rout early by hitting Rodney Smith for a 45-yard score off play-action just 80 seconds in. The junior added two more scoring passes to Reed, and the Seminoles carried a 34-0 lead into intermission.

Florida State held the Buccaneers (0-2) – an FCS team that was routed 62-0 by Central Florida – to 24 yards in the first half.

Charleston Southern's only touchdown came after Charles James intercepted Manuel. After James’ 39-yard return, Teddy Allen threw a 3-yard touchdown pass to Carson Leshin.
