Jordan Wynn passed for 199 yards and a touchdown and Matt Asiata rushed for a touchdown as No. 20 Utah came from behind to beat rival Brigham Young, 17-16, on Saturday.

DeVonte Christopher caught a touchdown pass and the defense forced four turnovers for the Utes (10-2, 7-1 Mountain West), who scored all 17 of their points in the fourth quarter.

The Cougars (6-6, 5-3) had a chance to win it in the final seconds but Max Payne had a 43-yard field goal attempt blocked as time expired.

Payne kept BYU ahead in the first half, kicking field goals of 44 and 37 yards for a 6-0 lead at the break. Jake Heaps and McKay Jacobson hooked up for a 22-yard score in the third quarter that pushed the lead to 13-0.

The Utes finally got on the board with a field goal early in the fourth and pulled to within 13-10 when the defense forced a fumble and Wynn cashed it in with a 37-yard touchdown pass to Christopher.

The Cougars added a field goal before turning it over twice, once on a muffed punt and once after intercepting Wynn with 5:50 left. Utah cashed in on that final mistake, driving down to the 3-yard line, from where Asiata punched it in for a 17-16 lead.
