Kellen Moore passed for three touchdowns and Doug Martin rushed for two scores as No. 4 Boise State remained unbeaten by routing host Idaho 52-14 in a Western Athletic Conference game on Friday night.

Chris Potter returned a punt 76 yards for a score as Boise State (9-0, 5-0) won its 23rd consecutive contest to stay in contention for the national championship.

The Broncos scored 28 first-quarter points and led 38-0 at halftime en route to beating Idaho for the 12th consecutive season.

Potter’s punt return started the onslaught and was followed by Martin’s 8-yard scoring run, a 1-yard touchdown run by Jeremy Avery and Moore’s 58-yard touchdown pass to Titus Young.

Moore hit Avery on a 17-yard scoring pass just before halftime to give Boise State a 38-point lead.

Martin, who rushed for 116 yards, scored on a 39-yard run in the opening minute of the second half.

Idaho (4-6, 1-4) finally got on the scoreboard on Nathan Enderle’s 18-yard third-quarter touchdown pass to Eric Greenwood.

Moore also threw a 21-yard scoring pass to Gabe Linehan. The Heisman Trophy candidate passed for 216 yards before exiting in the third quarter.
