Quarterback BJ Daniels ignited the South Florida offense, throwing for two touchdowns and running for two more, as the Bulls defeated Cincinnati 38-30 Friday night.

Daniels accounted for 321 yards in total offense as South Florida (4-3) ended Cincinnati's 14-game winning streak at Nippert Staidum, as well as their 13 consecutive wins in the Big East Conference.

Bearcats quarterback Zac Collaros threw for 463 yards, hitting on 30 of 53 passes for three touchdowns. UC (3-4) had 590 yards in total offense but the Bulls held on for their first Big East win.

After Jake Rogers opened the scoring with a Bearcats 26-yard field goal, Daniels scored on a three yard run early in the second quarter to give the Bulls a 7-3 lead. It was USF's first offensive touchdown in three games.

The Bulls scored their second touchdown after a Bearcat three and out when Daniels lofted a 32-yard scoring strike to wide receiver Evan Landi.

UC stormed right back when Collaros found Armen Binns in the corner of the end zone for a 20-yard touchdown pass. USF kicker Maikon Bonari then connected on a 33-yard field goal to give the Bulls a 17-10 advantage. Rogers' second field goal, a 21-yarder, closed the Bulls lead to 17-13 at halftime.

Rogers hit his third straight field goal midway through the third quarter, a 44-yarder, to make it a 17-16 Bulls lead. USF then scored to take a 24-16 advantage as Demetris Murray scored on a two-yard run.

USF extended the lead to 31-16 when Daniels hit Faron Holmes on a 70-yard scoring pass. Marcus Barnett then caught a 32-yard touchdown from Collaros on a fourth and six to make the score 31-23.

Daniels countered by scoring his second touchdown on a one-yard run around right end as the Bulls extended their lead to 38-23. Collaros hit Binns on another scoring pass, a 16-yarder, as the Bearcats closed the USF lead to 38-30.
