Trae Golden and Jordan McRae scored 21 points apiece as the visiting Volunteers spoiled senior night for the Tigers.

Tennessee's Jarnell Stokes amassed 11 points and 12 rebounds for his 13th double-double. The Volunteers (18-11, 10-7 SEC) scored 22 points off 16 Auburn turnovers, and won for the seventh time in eight games.

Frankie Sullivan scored 24 points and Josh Wallace had a season-high 14 points in their final home game for the Tigers (9-21, 3-14), who became the first Auburn team to lose more than 20 games in a season.

Auburn led 35-32 at the break after scoring eight of the first half's final 10 points. The Tigers led by as many as six, 44-38, in the second half and were clinging to a 60-59 lead with less than 10 minutes left when Tennessee embarked on a 14-2 run to take a 73-62 lead.

Tennessee won despite missing 11 free throws - nine by Stokes - and allowing Auburn to shoot 50.9 percent from the field.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Stokes has reached double figures in rebounds in five consecutive games. ... Even though it was senior night at Auburn, the game drew an announced attendance of 5,420, the second lowest in an SEC home game for the Tigers this season. ... Auburn has lost 14 of its past 15 games, something that hasn't happened to the Tigers since the 1942-43 season.
