California 64, Utah 46: Allen Crabbe had 15 points and 11 rebounds and the host Bears rallied from an early deficit to extend their winning streak to six games.

California (19-9, 11-5 Pac-12) missed 13 of its first 19 shots and trailed 22-14 before closing the first half on a 20-2 run to lead by 10. Justin Cobbs added 12 points for the Bears, who led by as many as 19 with 6:32 to play.

Utah, which lost for the fifth time in its last six games, was led by Jordan Loveridge’s nine points and 11 rebounds. Dakarai Tucker and Jarred DuBois scored seven points apiece for the Utes (11-16, 3-12), who have lost five in a row to the Bears.

California, which held Utah scoreless for 10:14 during one stretch, got 11 points from freshman Tyrone Wallace for the second consecutive game. The Bears remain within one game of conference leaders Oregon and UCLA with two home games left.

California, which has improved its NCAA Tournament resume by winning eight of its last nine games, held the Utes to 29.1 percent shooting, including 3-of-17 from 3-point range. The Bears are limiting opponents to 30.4 percent shooting from the field over the past three games.
