Cal State Northridge 76, Utah 71:
Landon Drew scored a season-high 19 points and the visiting Matadors rallied from a 21-point halftime deficit to beat the Utes.

Stephan Hicks also scored 19 points and Josh Greene had 13, all in the second half, for Northridge (9-3).

Jordan Loveridge scored a season-high 24 points and Jarred DuBois had 17 for Utah (7-4).

Utah still maintained a 16-point lead after Jason Washburn converted a three-point play with 13:26 remaining. But the Utes missed their next 13 field-goal attempts and committed six turnovers as Northridge went on a 22-3 run to take a 63-59 lead with 4:22 remaining.

Loveridge broke the drought with a 3-point basket with 4:18 left that cut the deficit back to one, but that was as close as the Utes would get. The Matadors made all five free throws in the final 56 seconds to secure the victory.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Stephen Maxwell also went scoreless in the first half for Northridge before finishing with nine points. … Washburn came off the bench and scored eight points in two minutes of the first half before finishing with 13. … The Utes shot 60 percent from the field (18-for-30) in the first half and 6-for-27 in the second (22.2 percent).
