V.J. Beachem scored 19 points and Bonzie Colson recorded a double-double as Notre Dame remained undefeated with a 107-53 victory over North Carolina A&T Sunday afternoon at the Purcell Pavilion.

The Irish shot the ball well, hitting 56.1 percent of their shots but were lethal from long range, connecting on 19 of 35 3-point attempts.

Matt Ryan made five 3s and scored 17 points while Matt Farrell and Temple Gibbs connected on four each to finish with 15 and 12, respectively.

Sam Hunt knocked down five 3-pointers and finished with 17 points for North Carolina A&T, which went 7-for-32 from beyond the arc and was 19-for-63 (30.2 percent) overall with 13 turnovers.

Aaron Scales scored 11 points while Eliel Gonzalez led the Aggies with 18.

Gonzalez scored 14 in the first half, hitting a pair of 3-pointers while going 5-for-7 from the floor. But that was the offensive bright spot for the Aggies, who made just 34.6 percent of their shots and were 3-for-12 from distance.

The Irish got off to a somewhat sloppy start, turning the ball over twice over their first four possessions, but a pair of 3-pointers from Farrell righted the ship quickly and a 14-2 run put Notre Dame up 23-11 with 11:56 to play in the half.

Up 16 at the break, Notre Dame opened the second half on an 11-3 run and doubled their lead when Rex Pflueger converted a three-point play with 12:16 remaining.
