Georgetown's Rodney Pryor scored 30 points and the Hoyas kept Coppin State winless with a 96-44 victory Wednesday night.

Georgetown guard L.J. Peak had a career high seven assists in the first half and finished with 10, along with seven points. Hoyas center Bradley Hayes, who missed the first four games of the season after being granted a fifth year of eligibility by the NCAA, scored 10.

The Hoyas (4-4) jumped out to a 40-10 lead and dominated all facets of the game.

The Eagles (0-9) have now lost nine straight games to open the season. Joshua Treadwell led Coppin State with 17 points, while Tre Thomas added 16 off the bench.

Reggie Cameron hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer and the Hoyas had a 61-20 lead at the half. Coppin State shot 6 of 25 (24 percent) from the field and were outrebounded, 33-14.

The Hoyas continued to pull away in the second half and a 3-pointer by Jonathan Mulmore boosted the lead to 83-41. Georgetown continued to rotate the bench and have now won two straight after a pair of lopsided losses to Wisconsin and Oklahoma State.

The Hoyas, who got points from 12 players, have a 55-0 all-time record against teams from the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference. The schedule does not get any easier for Coppin State, which travels to Clemson on Sunday.

The game between Georgetown and the Eagles was first meeting between the schools, which are separated by less than 50 miles.
