Dusty Hannahs and Daryl Macon each scored 17 points, and Arkansas stayed unbeaten at home with an 84-72 victory over Houston on Tuesday at Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville, Ark.

Senior forward Moses Kingsley, the preseason SEC Player of the Year, finished with 14 points, nine rebounds and two blocks for the Razorbacks (7-1), who won their fourth in a row and improved to 7-0 at home this season.

Junior guard Rob Gray Jr. led the Cougars with 22 points, and Damyean Dotson added 15 points, including back-to-back 3-pointers in the second half that cut Arkansas's lead to 63-61 with 7:17 to play.

The Razorbacks responded with a 14-3 run, and a layup by Dustin Thomas put Arkansas in control 80-67 with 1:12 to play. Thomas finished with 11 points for the Razorbacks, who appear poised to enter the Top 25 rankings in the coming weeks.

The game was tight in the first half, with both teams making runs.

Hannahs capped a 12-0 Razorbacks' run with six straight points, including a three-point play on a drive into the paint and ensuing free throw that extended the Arkansas lead to 25-11.

Houston answered with a run of its own behind a late flurry by Dotson, who had nine points in the first half. Dotson scored seven straight points during one stretch late in the first half, helping the Cougars take a 35-34 lead into intermission.

The Razorbacks shot 50.8 percent from the floor and outscored Houston 18-10 at the free-throw line for the game.

Arkansas has four non-conference games remaining, including a test against Texas, before opening SEC play.

Houston (6-2) tries to bounce back against a quality Rhode Island team Saturday.
