The Hokies (14-13, 6-8 ACC) trailed for almost the entire game, but mounted a 19-5 run in the last five minutes and handed reeling Florida State (16-11, 6-9) its fourth straight loss.

Seminoles guard Dwayne Bacon, a breakout freshman star, hit 8 of 15 shots, including five 3-pointers, and finished with 22 points. But it was not enough.

Florida State led 45-37 at halftime, behind 16 points from Bacon, who had a big first half, despite spending a few minutes on the bench with two fouls.

Five Hokies finished in double figures. Guards Justin Robinson and Jalen Hudson each finished with 13 points, and forwards Justin Bibbs and Zach LeDay each added 12 points for the Hokies, who snapped a two-game slide.
