Kansas State forward Dean Wade paced a balanced attack and the Wildcats ended a long Big 12 road losing streak with a 63-49 victory over TCU on Tuesday at Ed and Rae Schollmaier Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.

Kansas State (15-11, 4-9 Big 12) had lost 13 straight Big 12 road games dating to January 2015, but cruised past the struggling Horned Frogs in a battle of conference cellar-dwellers.

Wade scored 14 points, grabbed five rebounds and had four steals, guard Justin Edwards scored 17 points and guard Barry Brown added 16 for the Wildcats.

TCU (11-15, 2-11 Big 12) looked out of sync from the beginning, struggling to find good shots on offense and giving up easy baskets on defense. Kansas State stormed out to a 26-11 lead 11 minutes into the game and took a 35-24 advantage into halftime. The Horned Frogs shot 25 percent from the floor in the first half.

The Wildcats extended the lead to 17 on a bucket from forward D.J. Johnson with 9:30 to play in the second half. Kansas State owned a double-digit lead throughout the second half and was never seriously challenged.

Guard Malique Trent led TCU with 11 points -- the only Horned Frog in double figures.
