Arkansas-Little Rock improved to 5-0, matching the best start in school history, with a 64-60 victory at Tulsa on Saturday.

UALR led most of the second half, but could never break away. The Golden Hurricane pulled within one possession down the stretch, and had the ball trailing 62-59 with less than a minute to play, but turned the ball over. UALR guard Jermaine Ruttley made a jumper - his only field goal of the game - to put the Trojans back up by five with 24 seconds to play and Tulsa never got within a basket again.

Guard Josh Hagins led UALR with 17 points and 10 assists. Guard Jalen Jackson added a dozen points off the bench. The Trojans shot 50 percent from the field and made eight of its 15 attempts from 3-point range, but hurt itself with 16 turnovers and 22 personal fouls.

Guard James Woodard had 16 points to lead four Tulsa players in double figures.

UALR entered the game allowing 48.8 points - fewest in the nation. Tulsa exceeded that total with more than seven minutes to play, but made just 20 of its 51 shots.
