Martin then sandwiched a rebound and a blocked shot around a huge 3-pointer from guard Four McGlynn with 43.7 seconds left, giving the Rams a four-point lead. McGlynn salted the game away with two foul shots with 25.9 seconds remaining.

McGlynn finished with a game-high 18 points for Rhode Island (3-1), which advances to Wednesday night's championship game against either No. 2 Maryland or Illinois State. Martin added 14 points and eight rebounds, while guard Jared Terrell contributed a 12-point, 10-rebound double-double.

Reserve guard Brandon Parrish scored 13 points to pace the Horned Frogs (2-2), while six teammates chipped in seven or eight points apiece.

Forward Karviar Shepherd sank a long corner jumper with 3:13 remaining to give TCU a 57-54 lead, but the Rams scored the next 10 points as the Horned Frogs came up empty on five straight possessions.
