Jerome Robinson scored 15 points and had four rebounds and four assists as Boston College routed Central Connecticut State 82-57 on Thursday night at Conte Forum in Boston, Mass.

Robinson, a freshman guard, had 19 points, six rebounds, five assists, and three steals in his collegiate debut Saturday in a win over St. Francis of Brooklyn.

Eagles graduate student guard Eli Carter, who scored 23 against St. Francis of Brooklyn, totaled 18 points and five assists.

Dennis Clifford, a senior center, contributed nine points and nine rebounds for Boston College (2-0), which shot 50 percent (33-of-66).

Central Connecticut State junior guard JJ Cratit scored 20 while junior guard Khalen Cumberlander added 11.

The Blue Devils (0-3) are allowing 83.6 points per game through three contests.

Carter went 0-for-7 in the first half and was held scoreless until a pair of free throws with 7:56 left in the period. The Eagles trailed 16-12 with 11:17 to play in the frame before using a 33-17 run in a 10-minute span to take a 45-33 halftime lead.

Boston College led by as many as 32 in the closing half.
