Missouri defeated Maryland Eastern Shore 73-55 Sunday in Columbia, Mo., on Sunday.

After scoring four points in a 83-74 season-opening win against Wofford on Friday, junior guard Wes Clark had a team-best 15 points to go with three assists against the Hawks.

Starting forward Kevin Puryear scored 13 points and grabbed five rebounds, tied with Namon Wright for the most on the team. Wright, who scored 18 points off the bench against Wofford, added seven points in his first start of the season, but finished 1-for-8 from the floor.

After leading 34-32 at halftime, the Tigers outscored the Hawks 39-23 in the second half. K.J. Walton scored all 11 of his points in the second half and Clark added seven of his 15 in the second.

Hawks' guard Bakari Copeland had a game-high 16 points, as well as six rebounds and one assist. Devin Martin finished with 13 points and six rebounds, despite shooting 3-of-10 from the field.

Missouri (2-0) plays at Xavier on Tuesday while Maryland Eastern Shore visits Wofford on Saturday.
