Guard Jordan McLaughlin finished with 20 points and USC never trailed San Diego in an 83-45 victory on Friday at the Galen Center in Los Angeles.

McLaughlin made 8 of 12 shots from the field in 25 minutes also had five rebounds, three assists and two steals.

USC guard Elijah Stewart contributed 14 points, a game-high 10 rebounds and three assists, and guard Julian Jacobs had 11 points and seven rebounds.

Guard Duda Sanadze was the only double-figures scorer for San Diego with 12 points but was 5 of 14 from the floor. Guard Olin Carter had eight points and a team-leading seven rebounds.

San Diego shot just 24.6 percent from the field (15 of 61), 19.4 percent from 3-point range (6 of 31) and 34.6 percent from the free throw line (9 of 26). The Toreros were outrebounded 52-34.
