Karl-Anthony Towns tallied 12 points, 10 rebounds and five blocks to lead the way as the host Wildcats blew out the Tigers.

Aaron Harrison scored 16 points and Willie Cauley-Stein added 13 for Kentucky (16-0, 3-0 SEC), which improved to 7-0 against Missouri. The Wildcats shot 48.2 percent overall, went 8-of-18 from 3-point range and 24-of-30 from the foul line.

Wes Clark and Keanau Post scored 10 points apiece to lead Missouri (7-9, 1-2), which finished at 27.1 percent from the field and 1-for-18 from 3-point range. Leading scorer Johnathan Williams III went 1-for-13 for three points.

The Tigers hung in for almost seven minutes before a 20-2 spurt gave Kentucky a 32-12 lead and set the rout in motion. The Wildcats extended the advantage to 44-18 by halftime, holding Missouri to 9-of-29 from the field while shooting 50 percent.

It didn't get any better after the break for Missouri, which saw Kentucky use an 11-0 run to push the lead to 40 with less than eight minutes left. The Wildcats emptied the bench in the final minutes but still handed the Tigers their most lopsided loss since a 111-56 defeat at Kansas State in 1998.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Missouri's 18 points marked its fewest in the first half of a game since a 62-60 victory over Kansas in 2009. … Kentucky has held opponents to less than 20 points in a half 12 times this season, including both halves Tuesday. … Kentucky's 16-0 start is tied for the fourth-best in school history, matching the 1933-34 squad.
