No. 11 Utah 74, Colorado 49: Delon Wright recorded 13 points, six assists and four steals to lead the host Utes to their sixth straight victory.

Brandon Taylor added 14 points, five assists and four rebounds, and Dakarai Tucker scored 11 off the bench for Utah (13-2, 3-0 Pac-12), which improved to 11-0 at home. The Utes held their sixth opponent to fewer than 50 points and lowered their conference-leading average points allowed to 55.1 per game.

Askia Booker registered 12 points and six rebounds while battling foul trouble for the Buffaloes (9-6, 2-1), who lost third-leading scorer Xavier Johnson to a high ankle sprain less than seven minutes into the contest. Jaron Hopkins scored 12 points as Colorado fell to 0-4 in true road games and 1-5 away from home.

Brekkott Chapman's 3-pointer put Utah on top for good midway through the first half and after Booker committed his second foul and went to the bench for the final 8:31 of the first half, the Utes completed a 15-0 run to take a 29-15 lead en route to a 31-21 bulge at the break. Chapman, a 6-8 freshman, scored all eight of his points during the run while 7-0 freshman Jakob Poeltl contributed four of his six points and six of his eight rebounds prior to the break.

After Booker made 2-of-3 from the free-throw line to cut the deficit to 36-27 with 16:49 remaining, Utah scored eight straight points - highlighted by back-to-back 3-pointers from Tucker and Chris Reyes. The Utes led 59-31 when Tucker capped a 7-0 run with a 3-pointer and later led by as many as 35.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Colorado F Josh Scott, a preseason conference selection who averaged 14.8 and 7.7 rebounds entering the game, recorded three points, two rebounds and two blocks in his first game after missing the last two because of back spasms. ... Johnson, who averages 13.8 points, landed awkwardly during a driving layup attempt with 13:42 remaining in the first half and did not return to the Buffaloes' first game against a ranked opponent this season. ... The Utes have won their home games by an average of 27.4 points.
