Seton Hall 67, Saint Peter’s 52: Brandon Mobley led the way with a season-high 21 points on 8-of-13 shooting as the Pirates knocked off the visiting Peacocks.

Sterling Gibbs added 12 points for Seton Hall (8-1), which bounced back from its first loss at Wichita State earlier in the week. Angel Delgado grabbed 12 rebounds to go along with seven points and Mobley hauled in seven boards for the Pirates.

Desi Washington scored 13 points and Elias Desport had 12 for Saint Peter’s (4-7). Tyler Gaskins contributed 11 points while Marvin Dominique recorded nine points and nine rebounds for the Peacocks.

Mobley scored nine points and Gibbs had the other six during a 15-4 run that closed the first half and sent Seton Hall into the break up 39-27. Mobley’s jumper capped a 7-0 run and pushed the lead to 60-39 midway through the second period.

Saint Peter’s cut the deficit to 16 points with less than seven minutes to play but went more than three minutes without a field goal as the Pirates held the comfortable lead. Delgado’s free throws made it 66-48 with just under four minutes remaining as Seton Hall put it away.
